God Quest Online - Synopsis

Launched in the beginning of September 2008, God Quest Online (GQO) was designed and developed entirely by two people from the ground up to be a free, fun and addictive little browser based text game. The emphasis was on a game that could be played by members of all ages and a community that was friendly, helpful, like-minded and of course cheat free.

The basic game play is quite simple. You start by choosing a class of character from six selections as follows: Sorceress, Assassin, Marauder, Warlock, Mercenary or Amazon. Once selected, you assign skill points to five different attributes and commence game play buy purchasing a weapon or armor and exploring the countryside to gain gold and experience and proceed to battle against other members from all over the globe.

The battle system is on a round by round structure for the attacker having a set amount of rounds to do battle with rounds increasing as a player levels higher. As they level, they buy increasingly more powerful items and equipment as well as a Guard Animal to help them in battle against ever more powerful opponents.

With other options such as a Pub with a realtime chatbox, a depository to bank gold, an Auction House to sell or bid on special goodies and a lot more, there is no shortage of things to keep players occupied and amused as they wait to choose their next victim.

With ever changing advancements and additions to the game such as member suggestions and the soon to come "Catacombs", the developers have ensured a game that is both highly dynamic and extremely member friendly on many levels. As well, the developers are always available for the members and participate regularly on the chatbox as well as actively play the game keeping them very much aware of the games' functionality , successes and any short comings that may need addressing in order to keep the game fun, fair and balanced for its members.

With over 700 members in just the first month alone, the game not only shows signs of being an early success to the competitive market of online gaming, but also shows promise of being a popular and well liked game for many years to come.

Coming Soon

The Catacombs area of God Quest is already in Production and should be ready by or before early January. In the Catacombs players will battle NPC's (Non player characters) for gold, Experience points and special items. The Catacombs will be designed to offer players at the very top of the game with few targets to hit, a place to acquire additional Experience although the Catacombs will be available to every level player as well.
